INEZ — An Inez man was arrested July 20 after allegedly becoming combative and threatening emergency medical personnel.
Michael D. Dalton, 26, was charged with third-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree disorderly conduct.
Martin County Sheriff John Kirk responded to an East Main Street residence after receiving a report that Dalton was fighting. Kirk found Dalton lying on the floor with blood on his face.
Dalton told Kirk that three men had assaulted him while he was walking along Route 40, according to the arrest report.
After EMS personnel placed Dalton in an ambulance, Kirk said, he allegedly became combative and threatened to whip them.
