Harold Franklin Davis
1947—2026
Harold Franklin Davis, 78, of Lampasas, passed away peacefully June 16, 2026, at his residence.
Born Dec. 16, 1947, in Paintsville, he was the son of the late O.W. Davis and Deloris (Crum) Davis.
Harold was a loving husband, father and grandfather who faithfully served his country in the U.S. Army. He served during the Vietnam War and retired from duty at the rank of E7. After his time in the military, he was an over-the-road trucker. Harold retired from this job and was on a third when it became physically impossible to continue. He loved to stay busy, and retirement was hard for him.
Above all, Harold had faith in his Lord and Savior.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bruce Davis.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Sharon Davis; his sons, Scott Davis and wife Mimi, Barry Davis, and Tim Davis and wife Vanessa; his brothers, Walter Davis, David Davis and Joe Davis; his sisters, Haley Preece, Doris Blackburn and Elizabeth Sue Warth; his grandchildren, Rachall, Bradley, Caleb, Logan, Elena and Justice; and his great-grandchildren, Layla, Steele and Frankie Louise.
