OWE1 hosts 3-point shootout

INEZ — OWE1 brought basketball to the Fourth of July celebration with a 3-point shootout at the Martin County Public Library gymnasium on Saturday.

Shooters competed in three divisions: elementary/middle school, high school and college/adult.

Jude Caldwell won the elementary/middle school division, current Lady Cardinal Makenna Marcum claimed the high school division title and Billy Williamson took home the college/adult division championship.

Each winner received a $100 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card, a championship ring trophy and OWE1 gear/apparel.

Former Martin County standout Brady Dingess, who continued his basketball career at Morehead State, owns OWE1.

Judge Lafferty, Lafferty Medical and OWE1 sponsored the event.
