Linda Fay (Fields) Copley, 67, of Inez, passed away June 20, 2026, at her residence.

Born Nov. 21, 1958, in Prestonsburg, she was the daughter of the late James Russell “Old Man Pat” Fields and Ruth (Moore) Fields.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Copley; one brother, James Sheldon Fields; and two sisters, Brenda Kay Fields and Patricia Cornett.

Linda is survived by two sons, Robert Shane (Kendra) Meade of Lancaster, Ohio, and Steven Casey (Amanda) Meade of Inez; one brother, Thomas Dewey Fields of Detroit, Michigan; one sister, Lois Hamilton of Pikeville; and two special nieces, Coral Maynard and Valerie Lamb. Linda is also survived by four grandchildren, Holly Maynard, Isabella Rayne Jude, Ariel Faith Meade and Elias Finn Meade.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez with Sammy Ray Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at the Fields-Kirk Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home Tuesday, June 23 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
