WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — The Mingo County Magistrate Court clerk’s office released these arrest reports and criminal complaints.

Sherman Vance, 38, of Dingess, was charged with transferring stolen goods, possession of a controlled substance, fleeing from an officer and obstruction of an officer. He was arrested by WVSP Trooper D. S. Evans. The investigation involved a stolen Polaris ATV from Logan County. Bond was set at $52,000.

Rodney S. Justice, 29, of Matewan, was arrested by MCSD deputies for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Leandra S. Perkins, age not available, of North Matewan, was charged and arrested by MCSD deputies for delivery of a controlled substance.

Adam D. Pierce, 41, of Freeburn, Kentucky, was arrested by deputies for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Justice, Perkins and Pierce were arrested at a residence located at Rutherford Hollow of Newtown. During the arrest, deputies found plastic baggies of Fentanyl and marijuana.

Melinda Croyle, 45, of Matewan, was charged with driving under the influence causing serious bodily injuries. This involved a traffic accident at the intersection of U.S. Rt. 52 and State Rt. 49. She was arrested by WPD officers J. McCown and W. Hightower.

Ashley Rayburn, 44, of Beech Creek, was charged with domestic assault and domestic battery. WVSP Sgt. Z. Holden arrested her.

Davida Harding, 49, of Baisden, was charged with driving on a revoked license (DUI) and not wearing a seat belt. She was arrested by Trooper J. Reedy.

Chelsea Blackburn, 25, of Big Splint Hollow, was charged with reckless driving and DUI. She was arrested by Trooper Z. K. Bragg and Deputy M. Tiller.

Kurastin Brown, 33, of Gallagher, was charged with possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop. She was arrested by Trooper D. S. Evans.

Melissa Bentley, 34, of Williamson, was charged with driving on a revoked license (DUI) and driving with defective equipment. She was arrested by Trooper D. S. Evans.

Nathan Wolford, 40, of Ben Creek, was charged with drug possession and petit larceny. He was arrested by deputies of the MCSD led by Deputy M. Tiller.

Stephen A. Thomasson, 36, of Delbarton, was arrested by MCSD Cpl. E. Williams and Sgt. P. Muncy for violation of domestic protective order, burglary and grand larceny.

Thomas Woodrow Cook, 46, of Meador, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender. He was arrested by Trooper Z. K. Bragg.

Hannah Elkins, 29, of Kermit, was arrested by members of the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department for domestic assault.

All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
