John Ed Mollett
1962—2026

John Ed Mollett, age 63, of Debord, passed away June 7, 2026.

Born June 14, 1962, in Martin County, he was the son of the late John Mollett Jr. and Avenille (Delong) Mollett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings: Dorothy Goble, Kimberly (Kenny), Wanda Gail (Blutcher) Maynard, Ernest Mollett, Leon Mollett, Arkle Mollett, Arline (Jim) Howard, and Dora Dean (Lawrence) Crum.

John is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Lisa Mollett of Debord; three daughters, Elizabeth “Libby” (Jason) Vickers, Wanda (Buddy) Carter and Shawna Jude; four sons, Jonathan Mollett, Aaron Jude, Alex Jude and Wyatt Jude; and six siblings, Marthy Stacy, Pansy McCoy, Kathey Threasa Mollett, Robert Jo Jo (Samantha) Mollett, Harvey B.B. Mollett, and Renee (Brad) Overton. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Turkey Creek Church of the Nazarene with Garrett Mills and Jason Vickers officiating. Burial will follow in the Mollett Cemetery on Rockhouse.
