WARFIELD Martin County’s Braxten Pack and Chucky Leonard recently competed in the D1 Savage All-American Games held May 23-24 in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pack showcased his versatility by playing defensive end, outside linebacker and quarterback. Leonard anchored the line at offensive and defensive tackle.

Representing the eighth-grade White Team, the Martin County standouts joined some of the nation’s top young football talent and helped lead their squad to a 21-8 championship win.

Leonard, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 270 pounds at just 15 years old, also attended the University of Kentucky football camp in Lexington the following weekend. The freshman lineman drew interest from Kentucky Christian University, Centre College and Morehead State, while a UK assistant coach praised his performance and encouraged him to return to future camps.
