
CITIZEN STAFF REPORT
NEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests:

Joey Mat Luster, 67, of Inez, was arrested May 24 on Blacklog Road in Inez on charges of first-degree wanton endangerment and alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense.
Sheriff Kirk responded to a caller saying Luster was standing by the road with a gun. At the scene, the sheriff said he observed Luster standing in the driveway holding a black rifle with a scope and bipod.
“Luster was pointing the gun at all motorists on the road,” Kirk said.
According to the arrest report, Luster was extremely intoxicated.

Johnie C. Moles, 42, of Warfield, was arrested May 24 at Dempsey Housing in Warfield on a charge of assault, fourth degree (domestic violence), minor injury. Deputy Zach Waller responded to a domestic complaint. At the scene, a female allegedly stated that Moles choked her until she blacked out. The officer noted the woman had handprints on her neck and fresh scratches that had been bleeding.

Kyle Edward Safford, 35, address unknown, was arrested May 22 on KY-40 in Inez on a bench warrant for contempt of court. Deputy David Adams made the arrest.

Charles Ray Crum, 43, of Debord, was arrested May 22 on Setser Branch in Debord on a warrant charging him with criminal trespass, second degree, and theft by unlawful taking or disposition all others. Deputy Adams served the warrant.

Michael Farley, 47, of Inez, was arrested May 22 on Coldwater Road in Inez on a bench warrant for contempt of court. Deputy Adams served the warrant.

Teenie Lashae Jarvis, 28, was arrested May 21 on two counts of failure to appear. Officer Bellamy made the arrest.

Helen K. Jude, 53, of Inez, was arrested May 20 on Gordon Maynard Road in Inez on a bench warrant for failure to appear. Deputy Adams served the warrant.
All individuals are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
