Eden Elementary spotlights ‘paws-itively’ wonderful Wildcats

Eden Elementary “paws-itively” wonderful Wildcat students of the week are Shawn Cline, Cambree Stafford, Jaslyn Timms, Jase Scott, Kyla Bragg, Luke Preece and Robbie Daniel.

Eden Elementary would like to recognize several different groups of people that have exhibited “paws-itive” behaviors that are noteworthy of celebration. Every week, we would like to showcase a student from each grade level and a staff member/group of staff. We will also be spotlighting a community partner that has gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on our school. This community partner will actually remain in the spotlight for two weeks.

Our school staff is always watching for opportunities to encourage students to demonstrate excellent character, behavior or effort. Our school hopes to create a “paws-itive” culture for students, staff, and our community where they truly feel valued as we spotlight these Wonderful Wildcats.

Staff

Marcie Hale, Martin County food service director, is also part of Eden’s staff spotlight this week.

We want to recognize the Eden Elementary Food Service department (cooks and Marcie Hale/Martin County food service director) for always going above and beyond for our students in the cafeteria. Between preparing healthy meals for our students, adhering to strict nutrition standards, navigating student food allergies, and offering service with a smile, our school nutrition professionals are true heroes.

Eden Elementary is spotlighting the food service department Trish Mills (head cook), Maxine Jude, Nellie Spence, Jeana Howard, Brittany Bowen and Mary Moore.

Our cooks have also started recognizing a couple of students weekly with a Lunchtime Star Award for “paws-itive” behavior in the lunchroom. What a nice, motivational gesture to reward our students! We love each and every one of you ladies: Trish Mills (head cook), Maxine Jude, Nellie Spence, Jeana Howard, Brittany Bowen and Mary Moore.

Community Partner

Dwayne Mills, director of Appalachia Reach Out

We would like to recognize Dwayne Mills and the Appalachia Reach Out along with the Alabama North Nazarene District Missionary group once again for making our school a more “paws-itive” place to be. They painted many of our rooms and walls and even the bright, checkered entrance to our school, which makes our school more welcoming for all of our staff, students, parents and visitors.

Again, thanks to all of these wonderful Wildcats for making our school a more “paws-itive” place to learn and be.
