
Residents interested in learning a new skill will have an opportunity during a free workshop at the Pike County Extension Office.
Community Arts Assistant Angie Kendrick with the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service in Pike County is inviting the public to “Bind & Brunch” on Friday, June 5, at 11 a.m., at the Pike County Extension Office, 148 Trivette Drive, in Pikeville.
The hands-on class will teach participants the art of book binding while allowing them to create and take home a hand-stitched leather journal or sketchbook.
Attendees will also enjoy a nutritious snack during the event.
The class is free, but seating is limited.
