Emolene Hannah Muncy, 69, of Fort Gay, West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2026.

Born April 2, 1957, in Kermit, she was the daughter of the late Mark Hannah Jr. and Alberta Sturgell Hannah.

Emolene loved sewing and quilting and worked as a homemaker and upholsterer.

She was a member of the Bartram Chapel Church.

In addition to her parents, Emolene is preceded in death by her sister, Shirlene Maynard.

Survivors include her loving spouse of 31 years, Thomas Cook of Fort Gay; her son, Tommy Muncy of Louisa, Kentucky; her daughters, Melissa (Rick) Barker of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, and Rebecca (Timmy) Jackson of Louisa, Kentucky; grandchildren Tiara, Tiffany, Nikki Dawn, Jaden, Kylie, Kara, Kayli, Colt, Jasmine and Kegan; several great-grandchildren; and many others who lovingly called her Grandma. She also leaves behind her brothers, James (Mary Jane) Hannah of Beauty, Kentucky, Gregory Hannah of Kermit, and Les (Myra) Hannah of Troutman, North Carolina; her sisters, Patricia Lynn (Mitchell) Stepp of Crum, and Nancy Maynard (Gary Copley) of Fort Gay; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral Services were conducted Monday, May 25, 2026, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield with Ken Allen and Greg Caudill officiating. Burial followed at the Hannah Cemetery on Marrowbone in Kermit. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
