WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Several criminal complaints, including one for attempted murder, were released by the Mingo County Magistrate Court clerk’s office. At the same time, additional bookings and arrests were obtained from the Southwestern Regional Jail.

Shane Leroy Burchwell, 55, was arrested May 10 on charges of possession of a controlled substance, no registration, improper registration, no insurance, defective equipment, expired operator’s and capias (3 counts). Mingo County Sheriff’s Deputies J. May, B.T. Sipple and Tiller made the arrest.

Jerome Allan Sharp, 51, was arrested May 9 on charges of wanton endangerment, brandishing a deadly weapon and assault.

Brittany Leshay Akers, 29, was arrested May 9 on attempted abduction of a person.

Kimberly Rachelle Hendricks, 59, was arrested May 8 on charges of possession of a controlled substance and prohibited drug purchase receipt.

Reco B. Preece, 50, of Kermit, was arrested May 7 by Deputies J. May and B.T. Sipple on two warrants issued for violation of protective order.

Roscoe T. Bryant, 39, of Dingess, was charged with destruction of property. He was arrested May 7 by West Virginia State Police Trooper C.K. Morrison.

Jocelyn Ellis, 31, was arrested May 6 on a fugitive from justice warrant. Deputy J. May made the arrest.

Lester Dwayne Bailey, 39, was arrested May 6 on a probation violation.

Daniel Arlen Kozee, 35, was booked May 6 on a bailpiece charge.

Charles Frank Copley, 65, was arrested May 4 for failure to register as a sex offender, second offense, and indecent exposure. His bond is $10,000.

Bobbi Jo Crum, 36, of Delbarton, was charged with grand larceny and conspiracy to commit a felony by stealing a 2013 Kia Optima and other items from an alleged victim’s house.
Crum, along with Joshua Clark, allegedly struck the victim. The incident reportedly happened on Buffalo Creek Road near Williamson and the investigation took the officer into Pike County, Kentucky.
Crum was arrested May 2 by Deputy J. May.

Tracy James Evans, 35, of Delbarton, was charged with breaking into a cabin in Delbarton owned by Glen Dale Canada. He was allegedly accompanied by Bobbi Jo Crum, who faces additional charges.
The cabin was damaged, according to the criminal complaint.
Evans was arrested May 2 by Officer J.D. Tincher of the Delbarton Police Department.

Clifford Trent, 77, of Gilbert, was charged May 1 with attempted murder and domestic assault.
Deputies B. Sipple, T. Justice and J. May responded to a shots-fired 911 call at Baisden Fork near Gilbert. The victim told the officers that Trent had fired a handgun at her, nearly hitting her.
Officers said that during the investigation they found a .38 revolver with one shell casing that had been fired, a 9 mm handgun and a .22 caliber rifle. They also noted a bullet hole in the home and one in the couch.
Deputies found Trent in a neighbor’s house. He surrendered without incident, officials said.
Trent was arraigned before Magistrate Dave Justice, who set his bond at $51,000.
