INEZ — Bri Muncy and Aidan Mann are the Kirk & Crum Law Office Player of the Week.

Muncy delivered a standout performance at the plate in a doubleheader sweep of Owsley County on May 2.

In Game 1, Muncy went a perfect 3-for-3 with three singles, drove in two runs and scored twice to help lead the Lady Cardinals to an 11-0 win.

She followed that up in Game 2 with a double and two singles, crossing the plate three times as Martin County completed the sweep with an 18-4 victory.

Mann delivered when it mattered most for the Cardinals, driving in the game-winning run on a walk-off single in an 11-10 extra-inning victory over East Ridge, snapping Martin County’s 15-game losing streak.

The senior finished 3-for-6 in the win and followed it up with a 2-for-3 performance, including a double, against Floyd Central. Mann also recorded the team’s lone hit in a matchup with Johnson Central earlier in the week.
