Alvis Ray Setser
1960—2026

Alvis Ray Setser, age 65, formerly of Inez, went to his heavenly home April 26, 2026, while surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 10, 1960, in Tomahawk, he was the son of the late Buford and Betty Fraley Setser.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Sharon Jude, Retha Kay Whitt, Brenda Spence, Carol Spence and Janet Blankenship; and his brothers, Blaine Setser, Gary Setser and Johnny Setser.

Alvis is survived by his sisters, Sue Wyatt Kapper of Alabama and Gladys Christian of West Virginia. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, as well as many extended family members and friends.

A special thanks to Libby and Jason Vickers, Robin and Sheretta Spence and Deloris and Ronnie Cisco for going above and beyond to help Alvis in his last days.

Friends may visit the funeral home Wednesday, April 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home, 498 New Route 3, Inez.
