Melvina “Vennie” (Waller) Case, 73, passed away April 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 12, 1953, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Homer Waller and Ruby Hodge.

Vennie was a loving mother, grandmother and friend. She showed her love to everyone she met. She was a faithful child of God and attended the Full Gospel Church of Jesus.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Case; son, Homer Williams; brother, Jerry Waller; and sisters, Sherry, Terry, Hailey, Betty Carol and Lula Jane.

She leaves behind the love of her life, Jimmy Williams; daughters Polly Williams (Mark Heath) and Estella Williams (Dave Compton); sister Ireda Williams; brothers Leslie Williams and Clarence (Dee Dee) Williams; grandchildren Somer (James) Maynard, Rockie Messer, Ruby Martin, Loretta (Chase) Kencaid, Jimmy (Katrina) Moore, Cecil Moore and Angel Johnson; 13 greatgrandchildren; several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces; special niece that she loved as her own, Sherry Lynn Hundley; special friends Louise Williamson, Gene Parsley and Mary Jean Baisden; and one she called “the bestest son-in-law in the world,” Earl Johnson.

Visitation will be at the Full Gospel Church of Jesus on Jennies Creek in West Virginia on Monday, April 27, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with services at 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 1 p.m. Officiating will be James Maynard and Clifford Waller. Burial will be at the Waller Cemetery on Lick Skillet Road of Jennies Creek. Mullins Family Funeral Home of Warfield is honored to serve the family.
