MOUNTAIN CITIZEN
WARFIELD — A Martin County native who has returned home to the hills of Eastern Kentucky recently republished a Bible prophecy-based book that he originally wrote 10 years ago.
Roger Fluty, a 1985 graduate of Sheldon Clark High School, has spent the last 40 years in retail management, residing in multiple locations across the United States. No matter where he hung his hat, one thing that remained true and unwavering was his strong belief in his Christian walk and his never-ending commitment to educate himself in biblical truth and teachings. He spent years studying in-depth Bible prophecies and end-time events.

About 10 years ago, Fluty said God placed a calling on his life to write a book entitled ‘The Two Promises.’ He did so trusting God to guide the outcome. He believes he received God-given insight that may offer hope to those who read and believe.
“This book was written to bridge different religious beliefs, and to bring people together to share a unified message with the world,” explained Fluty.
Speaking of his personal journey and the differences he and his wife faced in their own faith, Fluty said if their beliefs had not been challenged, he may never have discovered the profound message at the heart of “The Two Promises.”
“If you’ve faced similar struggles and questions about faith and unity and if you’re curious to discover for yourself the profound teaching of the Old Testament, as well as the book of Revelation, I strongly believe this book is for you,” he said. “And I pray it will serve as a testament to God’s guidance, patience and power of reconciliation.”
To fully grasp the depth of Fluty’s insight, one must read “The Two Promises,” which Fluty hopes will serve as a roadmap for all seeking the truth. It is available in paperback and digital formats through Amazon, Barnes & Noble and independent booksellers nationwide.
As Fluty and his wife return home to Collins Creek, they begin a new chapter in Martin County.
“My wife and I have come full circle,” he said. “And I cannot wait to see what the future holds for my walk with God here in Martin County.”
Fluty welcomes enquiries from readers and encourages anyone who would like to discuss the contents of his book to email him at [email protected].
