Rosie Marie (Stepp) Dingess
1971—2026

Rosie Marie (Stepp) Dingess, 55, of Warfield, went home to be with the Lord March 30, 2026.

Born March 6, 1971, she was the daughter of the late Joann (Stepp) Vanhoose and Alvin Vanhoose.

Rosie was of the Christian faith. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She had a huge heart and cared for others in a way no one else could. Her memory will forever be cherished by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Ovie Lee Vanhoose.

Survivors include Rosie’s two daughters, Brittany Davis (Brayden Runyon) and Amisha (Brandon) Marson; one beautiful granddaughter, Everleigh Quinn Marson; two sisters, Priscilla Stepp and Connie (Johnny) Osborne; her husband, Ronald Dingess; step-daughter Ashley Horn; and step-grandsons Brody and Bryson. She also leaves behind a special nephew, Ronald Austin Butcher, and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Appalachian Hospice Care Center of Hagerhill and their compassionate nurses and team members for their love, care and support through this difficult time.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Crum Funeral Home in Inez, with Lonnie Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow at the Vanhoose Family Cemetery in Inez. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday, March 31, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
