PRESTONSBURG — Students from across the region are invited to an evening of faith, fellowship and high-energy fun during “#unfiltered: Real Jesus, Real You,” a free youth event set for Friday, March 27, at Archer Park in Prestonsburg.
Hosted by the Enterprise Association of Southern Baptist Churches, the event begins at 6 p.m., with registration opening at 5:30 p.m. Organizers say the night is designed to give students a place to connect, celebrate their faith and enjoy an uplifting atmosphere centered on Jesus.
The program will feature DJ music, interactive stage games, worship and a special message, creating what organizers describe as a night of loud energy, clean fun and real connection.
Featured guests include Nicholas Jamerson, the Kentucky-born singer-songwriter known for his Appalachian-rooted blend of Americana, folk and country, along with the University of Kentucky BCM Worship Team, a group of student musicians and vocalists devoted to leading worship and encouraging authentic encounters with Christ. Brad Callaway, a longtime youth minister and speaker from Ashland, will also be part of the evening.
In addition to the program, free burgers and hot dogs will be available, and Kona Ice and Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee trucks will be on-site. Organizers also note that the first 100 registered students in grades 6-12 will receive free Kona Ice.
The event is being held in conjunction with the “Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus” revival, scheduled for March 29 through April 1 at the Mountain Arts Center.
