Pharian ‘Bucky’ Winfree
1960—2026

Pharian “Bucky” Winfree, age 65, of Louisa, passed away March 19, 2026, at Salyersville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Salyersville.

Born Sept. 10, 1960, he was the son of the late James Alfred Winfree and Christine Marcum Winfree.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four brothers, Lynn Dale Marcum (Sandy), Gary Marcum (Rita), Herman Winfree and Jimmy Winfree.

Pharian is survived by three sons, Joshua (Jennifer) Winfree, Pharian Dwayne (Erickah) Winfree and Cody Max (Emma) Winfree, all of Louisa; two brothers: Arthur (Dewana) Winfree of Debord and Glen Darrel (Ida Louise) Marcum of Florida; one sister, Diane Luy of Louisa; five grandchildren, Honey Harless, Morgan Harless, Kelly Harless, Kira Harless and Lorieli Winfree; and a nephew, Glen Winfree.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the New Friendship United Baptist Church with David Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the Endicott Cemetery, Louisa. Friends may visit the church Sunday, March 22, 2026, and Monday, March 23, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, at the family’s request, donations may be made to Crum Funeral Home, 498 New Route 3, Inez, KY 41224, to assist with funeral expenses.
