Pigeon Roost announces Easter egg hunt: Prizes, bicycle giveaways

PILGRIM — Brightly colored eggs, excited children and the promise of bicycles and prizes will bring families together for the Pigeon Roost Community Center Easter Egg Hunt.

The event is on tap for Saturday, April 4, at noon at Pigeon Roost Park. It promises a festive afternoon for local children.

In addition to the egg hunt itself, organizers are planning bicycle giveaways and lots of prizes.

The event is possible through donations from the Pigeon Roost Fire Department, Miners Mart, Evans Hardware, Billy and Joyce Akers, Sylvia Akers and Kevin Akers.

Organizers encourage residents to bring the children out for an afternoon of Easter fun and community fellowship.
