Martin County plans Easter egg hunt at Frank Horn Field

INEZ — Frank Horn Field will become a springtime playground April 4 as Martin County officials welcome families to a community Easter egg hunt.

The event begins at 11 a.m. in Inez and will include prizes, inflatables and classic ballfield fun.

Martin County Fiscal Court, Judge/Executive Lon Lafferty, District 1 Magistrate Cody Slone and District 2 Magistrate Kermit Howell are encouraging residents countywide to arrive early.

To keep the hunt fun and fair for all ages, organizers will divide the egg hunt into three age groups: 1-4, 5-8 and 9-12. Children in each division will compete with peers in their own age range. There will be one grand prize winner from each group.

And the egg hunt is only part of the attraction.

In addition to the hunt, organizers will serve hot dogs and drinks and offer inflatables and other family activities.
