John Mullett
1960—2026

John Mullett, 65, of Flat Gap, passed away March 12, 2026.

Born July 15, 1960, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Calvin “Cab” Mullett and Hester Bowen Mullett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his six brothers: Calvin Mullett Jr., Lonnie Dale Mullet, Prentice Mullett, Milton Thomas Mullett, Harvey Mullett and Chester Mullett.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Kelly Mullett; his three brothers, George (Lalah) Mullett of Warfield, Roosevelt Mullett of Isonville and Jeffery Mullett of Willard. He is also survived by his three sisters, Julia (Eugene) Marcum of Fort Gay, West Virginia, Lorraine (James) Stevens of Cannonburg and Mary Ann Mullett of Willard.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Doc Maynard officiating. Friends and family may visit at the funeral home from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 17. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
