INEZ — It is that time of the year again. March Madness is here, and last year’s bracket challenge was so successful that we are doing it again.

The official brackets will be printed in next week’s edition of the Mountain Citizen. They will be the only bracket allowed in our contest.

Fill out the NCAA March Madness tournament bracket and turn it in by Thursday, March 19, at noon for a chance to win a gift card.

The 2026 NCAA men’s and women’s tournament brackets will be announced on Selection Sunday, March 15, with the First Four beginning March 17 and the first round tipping off March 19.

Brackets may be turned in a few ways:

Drop off your completed bracket at the Mountain Citizen office in Inez.

Take a picture of your completed bracket and send it to mountaincitizen@bellsouth.net or submit it via Messenger on the Mountain Citizen Facebook page.

Brackets must be completed in ink or marker, and each participant’s name must be printed legibly. Pics that cannot be read will not be counted.

Points will be awarded for each correct pick.

No late brackets will be accepted.
