Alice Fay (Muncy) Block
1965—2026

Alice Fay (Muncy) Block, 60, of Marrowbone, Kermit, West Virginia, passed away peacefully at her home March 1, 2026.

Born Aug. 5, 1965, in Mingo County, she was the daughter of Jennetie Muncy and the late Dan Muncy.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted husband, Arnold Block; two sisters, Crystal (John Runyon) Muncy of Kermit and Betty (Harold) Dingess of Inez, Kentucky; one brother, Vess (Paula) Muncy of Louisa, Kentucky; one half-brother, Travis Muncy; and four half-sisters, Lisa Muncy, Stephanie Darnell, Holly Kinser and Tina Jude. She is also survived by two nieces, Angel Maynard and Melissa Stroud; two nephews, Matt Muncy and Casey Runyon; three great-nieces; five great-nephews; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

The most important decision Alice ever made was accepting Jesus Christ as her Savior. Her faith was the foundation of her life.

Our loss is Heaven’s gain.

Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Jenny’s Creek Baptist Church in Kermit, with Joe Maynard officiating. Friends may visit at the church Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with special services at 7 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Kentucky.
