Nannie (Preece) Endicott

1939—2022

Nannie Preece Endicott, 83, went home to be with the Lord Aug. 20, 2022.

She was born May 13, 1939, to the late Roxie (Goble) and Basil Preece. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Endicott; three brothers, Rudolph “Buddy” Preece, Matt Preece and Milton “Cootie” Preece; three sisters, Lushie Preece McGinnis, Alice Preece Haney and Tilda Preece Moore; and five stepchildren.

She is survived by her children, Lawrence Clifton Endicott of Inez and Linda Preece (Ronald) Jude of Prestonsburg; two sisters, Wilda Preece and Margie Preece, both of Inez; and one brother, Lucian “Bear” Preece of Lovely. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jeremy Jude and Tamara Jude, both of Inez, and Adam Jude of Lovely, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2022, in the Crum Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow at the Saltwell Cemetery. Friends may visit the funeral home 5-9 p.m. Tuesday (special service at 7 p.m.). Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
