Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests:

David Coffey

David Coffey, 36, of Inez, was arrested Tuesday in Inez on an indictment warrant charging him with first-degree bail jumping. Deputy Billy Patrick made the arrest.

Donald Ray Cornette

Donald Ray Cornette, 52, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday in Tomahawk on fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) minor injury and fourth-degree assault (child abuse). Deputy David Adams responded to a domestic at Mary Perry Drive. Adams said Cornette stated that he and his girlfriend Cheryl Rogers had gotten into an argument over Rogers’ child. Rogers and her 10-year-old daughter advised that Cornette hit Rogers on the right arm and the right side of her face and kicked the child on the leg. Adams noted that Rogers had a bruise on her upper forearm, her face was red and puffy, and the child had a bruise on the upper part of her leg.

Cheryl Ann Rogers

Cheryl Ann Rogers, 45, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday on fourth-degree assault (domestic violence) minor injury. Deputy Adams reported that he responded to a domestic involving Rogers and her boyfriend Donald Ray Cornette. According to the officer, Cornette stated Rogers had hit him on the left leg and right hand with trash pickers. The deputy noted Cornette had a bruise on his right leg and a cut across the upper palm of his right hand.

Matthew Moore

Matthew Moore, 38, of Pilgrim, was arrested Monday in Inez on a bench warrant. Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.

Clayton Jude, 49, of Warfield, was arrested Monday in Tomahawk on a bench warrant. Adams made the arrest.

Angela N. Jordan, 49, of Columbus, Ohio, was arrested Monday in Warfield on a bench warrant. Adams made the arrest.

Damion Berry

Damion Berry, 30, of Ohio, was arrested Monday at the United States Penitentiary Big Sandy on a fugitive from another state warrant. Deputy Kidd served the warrant.

Michael Meade

Michael Meade, 23, of Hagerhill, was arrested Sunday in Tomahawk on trafficking in a controlled substance (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives). Adams made the arrest. The deputy said he was investigating a drug trafficking tip — that Meade had agreed to meet a man at Horn’s BP on Milo with 1.13 grams of fentanyl and three Xanax pills in a pill bottle. Adams found Meade at Horn’s BP, where Meade advised the deputy that he was there to sell the drugs to a man. According to Adams, Meade said “it was not real fentanyl — that he was just going to rip him off.”

Anthony Estep Jr.

Anthony Estep Jr., 19, of Meally, was arrested Sunday in Tomahawk on operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol, 0.08. Adams reported that Estep pulled up beside him on an ATV and started talking. The deputy noted a beer can and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from Estep’s breath. Estep’s breath test result was 0.10.

Christopher Garr Maynard

Christopher Garr Maynard, 45, of Pilgrim, was arrested Saturday in Pilgrim on first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Deputy Adams made the arrest and reported that he responded to a complaint from dispatch about a male and female and possibly a child sitting on the road at Big Peter Cave. Upon arrival, the deputy came into contact with Maynard lying on the ground. The deputy found a small clear bag containing a crystal-like substance on the ground beside Maynard, which Maynard advised was methamphetamine.

Michael Dale McCumbers

Michael Dale McCumbers, 28, of Tomahawk, was arrested Saturday in Debord on alcohol intoxication in a public place. Deputy Adams responded to a complaint about a male being “extremely drunk and out of control.” Upon arrival, the deputy found McCumbers had a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath, was unsteady on his feet and “talking out of his head.”

Brian Adkins

Brian Adkins, 25, of Warfield, was arrested Friday in Warfield on a bench warrant for fourth-degree assault (domestic violence), minor injury, second-degree fleeing or evading police (on foot), resisting arrest and menacing. Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.

Christopher Marcum

Christopher Marcum, 47, of Inez, was cited Friday in Inez for first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Deputy Kidd responded to a call about a man passed out in the parking lot at Evans Hardware, where he found Marcum passed out. The deputy reported that Marcum had slurred speech and confusion. Kidd searched Marcum and found a small round container with a white powder substance inside it, which Marcum stated was “around 2 grams of meth he forgot he had on him.” Marcum was cited and went to an area hospital for treatment unrelated to the incident/arrest. 

Skyler Harmon

Skyler Harmon, 23, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Inez on a bench warrant. Deputy Billy Patrick made the arrest.

Bonnie Wallace

Bonnie Wallace, 53, of Lovely, was arrested Thursday on North Wolf Creek Road for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, failure to maintain insurance and third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified). Deputy Kidd made the arrest and reported that he responded to a call about a vehicle in the ditch on North Wolf Creek and that Wallace stated she ran off the road and into the ditch. According to Kidd, Wallace had slurred speech and trouble standing and said she had taken Gabapentin and other prescription drugs. She consented to a blood test. Deputy Billy Patrick reported that he conducted an open-air search of Wallace’s vehicle, and K9 Zoe indicated on the driver’s door. Officers did not find anything in the vehicle, but upon arrival at a medical facility, Wallace had three different types of drugs in her shoe.

Alexandria Destiny Moore

Alexandria Destiny Moore, 30, of Inez, was arrested Aug. 10 in Inez on a bench warrant. Kidd made the arrest.

Floyd A. Luster

Floyd A. Luster, 30, of Inez, was arrested Aug. 9 at 346 Collins Creek, Warfield, on a bench warrant. Kidd made the arrest.

Adam Tyler Jude

Adam Tyler Jude, 29, of Inez, was arrested Aug. 9 in Inez on a bench warrant. Kidd made the arrest.
