INEZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL REPORT
Inez Elementary School (IES) was honored to host the District 116 Governor’s Cup Competition on Saturday, Feb. 7. As a host school, we could not have asked for more support than what we received in making this a successful event. From our superintendents and principals to all of the volunteers from each participating school, everyone involved was the absolute best in making this event run smoothly.
The schools that competed this year were Eden Elementary, Inez Elementary, Warfield Elementary, Porter Elementary and WR Castle Elementary. All students represented their schools very well. It was a blessing to see such dedicated individuals in our district and each student gleamed with pride for their respective schools.
Participating on an academic team requires much dedication and perseverance. Their commitment to academic team will lead them to endless opportunities. The students in this district are ready for the challenge of moving on to regionals Feb. 28 at Central Elementary.
