Clifford Fluty
1949—2026

Clifford Fluty, 76, of Louisa, passed away Feb. 2, 2026, at his home.

Born July 26, 1949, in Wayne, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Lee and Georgia (Copley) Fluty.

Clifford enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing cards. He never married, but always said as long as Mom could flip a flapjack, he did not need a wife. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Clifford is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou (Fluty) Mollett; two brothers, Franklin (Maxine) Fluty and Joe (Sarah) Fluty; and one nephew, Larry Fluty.

Survivors include one brother, Richard and Ruth Fluty; one sister, Patricia (Fluty) Daniel; and a host of nieces and nephews. He leaves behind a special niece, Sandra (Sandy) Salyers, and one great-great niece, Allena Cole, whom he called Blondie.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Maurice Mills officiating. Burial followed at the Fluty Lick Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
