Man arrested after motorcyle chase

MAYTOWN — A motorcycle pursuit that began in the Goose Creek area Friday, Dec. 26, ended miles later in Maytown with the arrest of a Martin man on multiple felony charges, according to the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies attempted to stop a Honda motorcycle after the operator refused to pull over and instead fled, prompting a pursuit in Floyd County. The chase concluded in Maytown, where the driver, identified as Timothy Hall, 25, of Martin, was taken into custody.

Authorities said Hall was in possession of crystal methamphetamine, digital scales and plastic baggies, items consistent with drug trafficking.

Hall was lodged in jail and charged with attempting to elude police, first degree; two counts of wanton endangerment, first degree; resisting arrest; trafficking in a controlled substance, first degree (methamphetamine); and possession of drug paraphernalia.
