
INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Jeremy Williams, 33, of Kermit, West Virginia, was arrested Nov. 30 on Route 40 in Inez on a warrant for court. Deputy Adams made the arrest.

Leona Donnielle Johnson, 32, of Delbarton, West Virginia, was arrested Nov. 28 on KY-645 in Inez on two indictment warrants and a bench warrant out of Pike County. Her charges include two counts of trafficking in controlled substance (fentanyl), failure to appear, possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (fentanyl), possession of a controlled substance in the first degree (heroin), promoting contraband-fentanyl, carfentanil or derivative and promoting contraband in the first degree. Deputy Jameson Wall served the warrants.

Michael Roy Harmon, 36, of Inez, was arrested Nov. 28 on Virgil Moore Road in Inez on a charge of assault fourth degree (domestic violence, minor injury.
Deputy Wall and Sheriff Kirk responded around midnight to a report of an active altercation at a residence on Virgil Moore Road. The officers say they found Harmon sitting in the driveway.
A female at the scene told the officers that she and Harmon had been involved in an altercation and that he struck her in the face, busting her lip and blacking her eye. She stated he hit her four or five times and pulled her hair.
Deputies reported the woman had a visible busted lip and black eye. They noted finding loose hair in the area of the alleged altercation.
