Preece named 2025 Constable of the Year

SHEPHERDSVILLE — Martin County’s James Bradford Preece has been named the 2025 Constable of the Year, the Kentucky Constable Association announced Saturday during its annual awards banquet at the Bullitt County Conference Center.

Preece, who also earned the honor in 2023, topped a statewide field that included runner-up Tim Branham of Johnson County. Branham won the award in 2024.

Preece congratulated Branham and thanked his fellow constables for the nomination and votes.
