Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s office reported the following arrests:

Dustin Stacy, 30, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday in Inez on two bench warrants from Martin District Court. Deputy Tyler Lafferty made the arrest.

Lonnie Joe Robinson, 42, of Tomahawk, was charged and transported to the hospital Friday after Deputy Lafferty found him unresponsive inside his vehicle at Slone’s Cycle Shop in Inez. Robinson’s charges include first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia-buy/possession. Lafferty reported that when he arrived at the scene, Robinson would not respond.

“I then had to bust the passenger side window to unlock the door,” Lafferty reported.

Officers administered three doses of Narcan (12 mg) before Robinson woke up.

Lafferty seized a purple pipe containing a crystal-like substance that was located under Robinson’s feet.

An ambulance transported Robinson to Highlands ARH.

James Hackney, 41, of Lovely, was arrested Thursday at the entrance to Big Branch in Lovely on public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Constable Brad Preece reported that he observed Hackney weaving from side to side in the middle of the road on a bicycle on Route 1714. Preece says Hackney had slurred speech, admitted to smoking marijuana and drinking beer earlier in the day, and failed a field sobriety test.

Mary Setser, 51, of Inez, was arrested Thursday in Inez on public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol) and disorderly conduct. Deputy Braxton McGinnis reported that he received a call from dispatch about Setser being beside the road crying. McGinnis said when he arrived, Setser was “screaming out random things” at Sheriff Kirk and refused to submit to a field sobriety test.

Kody Allen Endicott, 28, of Inez, was arrested July 6 on Old Route 3 in Inez on fleeing or evading police, possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle and a bench warrant. Deputy Tyler Lafferty reported that while on patrol, he assisted Sheriff Kirk in a pursuit. Endicott was operating a red Honda 300 when Kirk attempted to make a traffic stop. Endicott would not stop for the sheriff. The pursuit went approximately 3 miles before Endicott stopped. The officers found one open beer bottle in Kirk’s bag.
