Denise G. Bailey, 73, of Inez, Kentucky, formerly of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away at her home Nov. 6, 2025.

Denise was a graduate of Kermit High School’s Class of 1970 and a former hairdresser who loved life and always lived it her way. She will be remembered for her tenacity, free spirit and love for her family.

Survivors include her children, Shane (Selena) Marcum of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Shayde (Shaye) Farwell-Sartin of San Francisco, California; two brothers, Milton (Phyllis) Marcum and Scott (Sara) Pack; and two sisters, Mary (Steve) Hatfield and Christine (David) Mitchell.

Denise is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Mae Ward; her father, Jim Pack; one brother, Johnny Claude Bailey; and one sister, Tempist Pack.

She will forever be remembered for her tenacious personality and her resilience in life.
