Clarence Setser Sr.
1942—2025

Clarence Setser Sr., 83, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025.

Born Sept. 19, 1942, in Tomahawk, he was the son of the late Everett and Gladys (Wells) Setser.

In addition to his parents, Clarence is preceded in death by five brothers, Alfred Setser, McKenley Setser, Chester Setser, Harold Setser and John Setser; four sisters, Evelyn Crum, Hazel Penix, Shirley Smith and Debbie Setser; and two sons, Donald Ray Setser and James Everett Setser.

Clarence is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Anna Lee (Hall) Setser of Tomahawk; his son, Clarence (Tina) Setser Jr. of Tomahawk; and his brother, Don Setser of Michigan. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Matt and Amber Setser of New York, James and Melissa Setser of Tomahawk, Harold and Amanda Setser of Teaberry, Kimberly and Timothy Horn of Inez, and Travis and Lindsey Setser of Defiance, Ohio, and 11 great-grandchildren that he loved dearly.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at the Phillip Cove Freewill Baptist Church with Tim Preece and Bill Davis officiating. Burial followed at the Setser Family Cemetery under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
