Carmel Jean (Stafford) Cline
1970—2025

Carmel Jean (Stafford) Cline, age 55, of Inez, passed away Nov. 8, 2025, at her residence.

Born Oct. 8, 1970, in Paintsville, she was the daughter of the late Gary Landon Stafford and Anna Mary (Carter) Stafford.

She was a faithful member of the Freedom Freewill Baptist Church.

Carmel is preceded in death by her father and one sister, Juanita Sue Stafford.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Danny Cline of Inez; one son, Brady Allen Cline of Inez; two stepsons, Daniel Cline of Inez, and Danny Brian Cline of Pataskala, Ohio; three brothers, Gary Lynn Stafford of Tomahawk, John Landon Stafford and Shane Michael Stafford, both of Inez; and three sisters, Gretta Ann Ward of Tomahawk, Helen Dawn Proctor Scott of Inez, and Mary Joann Osborne of Beauty. Carmel is also survived by one granddaughter, Storm Ray Cline, and two step-grandchildren, Hannah Rose Cline and Hillary Elizabeth Cline. 

A memorial service took place Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez.
