INEZ — The rainy weather didn’t stop anyone from enjoying the Fourth of July makeup celebration Saturday in Inez.

A large turnout came for the Kiwanis Club parade, vendors that were gathered in the community center parking lot and the popular Inez Volunteer Fire Department fireworks finale.

The annual event was canceled July 2 out of respect for the fallen police officers in Allen.
