Ernie Dale Spurlock
1968—2025

Ernie Dale Spurlock, 57, of Breeden, West Virginia, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington.

Born March 4, 1968, in Breeden, he was the son of Opal Kirk and the late Luther Kirk.

In addition to his mother, Ernie is survived by his sister Glenna (Donald) Baisden of Breeden, niece Adrienne (Joshua) Marcum of Lenore, nephews DJ (Christa) Baisden of East Fork of Twelve Pole, Roger (Kayla) Baisden of Marrowbone, a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, lifetime friend Eric Chester and special cousins Mikey Williamson and Melvina Parsley.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield. Burial followed at the Spurlock Family Cemetery in Breeden. Mullins Family Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.
