Hall arrested in child sexual exploitation case

HAROLD — A man was arrested June 28 on 21 charges in a child sexual exploitation case.

The Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Branch executed a warrant on Christopher Jacob Hall, 24, at a residence in Harold due to an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.

Hall’s charges include 20 counts of possessing matter portraying a minor under 12 in a sexual performance and one count of distributing matter portraying a minor under 12 in a sexual performance.

Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination.

The KSP began the investigation after discovering Hall sharing sexually explicit images online.

The Kentucky Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force comprises more than 26 local, state and federal law enforcement agencies. The mission of the ICAC Task Force, created by the United States Department of Justice and administered by the Kentucky State Police, is to assist state and local law enforcement agencies in developing a response to cyber enticement and child sexual abuse material investigations.
