William Douglas Mounts
1948—2025

William Douglas Mounts, age 77, of Inez, passed away Sept. 27, 2025, at the Martin County Health Care Facility.

Born June 26, 1948, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Lochie and Shirley Marie (Dillon) Mounts.

In addition to his parents, William is preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae (Phillips) Mounts, one sister, Anna Rae Penna, and two brothers, Perry Mounts and Frederick McCoy.

William is survived by one daughter, Shirley Anne Mounts; one stepdaughter, Kelly Phillips; two brothers, John Curtis Mounts and Paul W. Mounts; three sisters, Effie Lynn Spaulding, Sandra McCoy Adkins and Debra Hart; and one grandchild, Piper Mounts.

At the request of the family, there will be no services at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
