Thomas L. Stevens
1948—2025

Thomas L. Stevens, 76, of Lovely, passed away Sunday, Sept. 14, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born Nov. 8, 1948, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Walter Stevens and Fannie Bailey Stevens.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Jason Stevens, and two siblings, Walter Stevens and Soldia Mont.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Tedder Stevens of Lovely; two sons, Casey (Teresa) Stevens of Lovely and Travis (Jordan) Stevens of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Howell, Tristan Stevens, Brenden Stevens, Jasper Stevens and Charlie Stevens; and one great-grandchild, Campbell Tate Stevens. He is also survived by five siblings, John Stevens, Sherd Stevens, Rachell Stepp, Nancy Stevens and Hester Pack, along with a host of friends and family.

Funeral services took place Friday, Sept. 19, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, with Bobby Perry officiating. Burial followed at the Stevens Family Cemetery in Lawrence County. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
