Robert David Rouse Sr.

1962—2022

Robert David Rouse Sr., 60, of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, died Monday, June 27, 2022, in Mount Carmel Hospital, Grove City, Ohio.

Born March 19, 1962, in Williamson, W.Va., he was the son of Robert F. and Betty L. (Laxton) Rouse.

A construction worker most of his life, Dave loved working and his family.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include his sons Robert David (Kendra) Rouse Jr., Nathan Rouse and John (Jackie) Rouse; grandchildren Aubrey and Jupiter Rouse; brother Rick (Fonda) Rouse and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and sister Terri Salacuse.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, July 2, 2022, in the Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with Bobby Mullins officiating. Burial was at the Warfield Cemetery, under the direction of Mullins Family Funeral Home.
