Lula Hall Williams
1947—2025

Lula Hall Williams, 78, of Tazewell, Virginia, entered into her heavenly home May 29, 2025, at her home.

She was born March 31, 1947, to the late Leo Williams and Estella Williams Dillon.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three daughters, Loretta Meade, Martha Hall and Jenny Hall, one son, Dusty Hall, two grandchildren, Thomas (TW) Mulcahy and Christy Bowen, two siblings, Lonnie Williams and Omy Ann Williams and two sisters-in-law, Connie Williams and Misty Williams.

Lula is survived by her husband, Claude Matthews, one son, Robert (Bettle Juice) Muncy, three brothers, Jimmy Williams, Clarence (Dee Dee) Williams, and Leslie Williams, one sister, Ireda Williams, three stepdaughters, three stepsons, one stepsister, Melvina Case, special niece, Polly (Mark) Heath and special friends, Charlene and Pappy Harris. She is also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and hundreds of friends. She was loved and will be missed by many.

The celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 13, 2025, at Polly and Mark Heath’s residence, 2560 Riverbend Road, Crum, West Virginia. A gathering at Williams Family Cemetery on Marrowbone will follow. All are welcome.
