INEZ — The Martin County Harvest Festival is turning up the fall spirit with the 8th Annual Scarecrow Stroll, inviting businesses and residents to deck out the county with their most imaginative scarecrow creations.

The community tradition celebrates the 29th Annual Harvest Festival with both business and residential contests.

To enter, snap a photo of your scarecrow and submit it to the Martin County Harvest Fest Facebook page, email it to kiwanisharvestfestinezky@gmail.com or text it to 606-626-5936.

Facebook voting kicks off Sept. 8 and runs through 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, when festival organizers will announce the winners.
