INEZ — The Martin County Farmers Market opened Monday in Inez, offering locally grown fresh produce.
The market is set up at 9 Holy Street and will be open 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday each week.
Patrons will find cabbage $5 large, $4 small, green tomatoes $4 carton, summer squash 3 for $2, cucumbers 3 for $1, sweet ban pepper 3 for $1, summer squash 3 for $2, onions $3 carton, potatoes $5 basket, hot pepper $2 carton or 3 for $1, honey $8 pint or $10 pint with comb and $16 quart or $18 quart with comb.
The market, hosted by the Martin County Cooperative Extension, will run until local farmers are out of produce.
WIC and senior vouchers are welcome.
