Cynthia (Jude) Howard
1942—2025

Cynthia (Jude) Howard, 83, of Debord, passed away Aug. 7, 2025, at the Martin County Health Care Facility in Inez.

Born Jan. 26, 1942, in Pilgrim, she was the daughter of the late Henderson and Lauda (Pauley) Jude.

In addition to her parents, Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Howard.

She is survived by her son, Daniel (Denise) Howard of Kermit, West Virginia, and one brother, Howard Jude of Lexington. Cynthia is also survived by five grandchildren, Brittany (Chad) Chaney of Williamson, West Virginia, Taira Howard, Jeremy Howard, David (Jessica) Howard and Ethan Howard, all of Kermit, West Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Arionna, Lexi and Ben; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was conducted Saturday, Aug. 9, 2025, at the Abe Howard Cemetery in Debord, with Mike Smith officiating.

The family would like to give a very special thanks to the Martin County Health Care Facility, Highlands ARH, and Community Hospice.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Martin County Health Care Facility, 62 Maude Rd, Inez, KY 41224 in care of Rita Pinson.

Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
