PAINTSVILLE — Several people were arrested recently and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center.

Edward Clay Gipson, 43, of West Maple Street, Salyersville, fourth-degree assault.

Louise R. Gipson, 66, of Connelley Farm Road, Salyersville, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (unspecified).

Ashley N. Gipson, 32, of West Maple Street, Salyersville, fourth-degree assault.

Sarrie A. Gipson, 18, of West Maple Street, Salyersville, fourth-degree assault.

Chad A. Peyton, 39, of Ky. 2040, Paintsville, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
