Edward Jude
1955—2025

Edward Jude, 70, of Warfield, passed away July 31, 2025, at his residence.

Born June 7, 1955, in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Jeff and Kate (Maynard) Jude.

In addition to his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his wife, Violet Fay Jude; one daughter, Diana Fay Jude; five brothers, Isaac Elijah Jude, John E. Jude, Edgar Jude, Thomas J. Jude and Harlon Jude; and six sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Easter Coleman, Virgie V. Jude, Victoria Sparks, Elma J. Jones and Dolly Jude.

Edward is survived by four sons, Anthony M. Jude of Pilgrim, Edward Thomas Jude of Warfield, Edward Charles Jude of Ohio, and David Jude of West Virginia; one sister, Margie Mills of Pilgrim; and two brothers, Charlie Jude and James A. Jude, both of Inez.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, in the Crum Funeral Home chapel in Inez. Burial followed at the Jude Family Cemetery in Pilgrim. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
