Lucy Jane Robinson
1934—2025

Lucy Jane Robinson, 90, of Inez, died July 6, 2025, at ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, after a short illness.

Born Dec. 26, 1934, in Inez, she was the daughter of the late Laura Robinson (Endicott) and Amos Robinson.

She attended Inez High School and graduated with the Class of 1953.

Lucy went on to work and retire from DAV (Disabled American Veterans) in Cold Spring. She was loved and admired by all who knew and worked with her. Lucy was always there with a helping hand or kind words for everyone she knew. She loved to work with her hands, enjoying activities such as crochet, embroidery, baking cookies and working jigsaw puzzles.

Lucy dedicated all her time to her family. She had many nieces and nephews she thought of as her children, and many great-nieces and great-nephews who filled her heart with joy. All will deeply miss her.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Phyllis Hinant (Robinson) and Yvonne Hines (Robinson), and one brother, James Harvey Robinson.

Lucy is survived by her brother John Forrest Robinson, nieces, nephews and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held at a later date, still to be determined by the family.
