CITIZEN STAFF REPORT
WARFIELD — The Warfield Volunteer Fire Department added a new engine to its fleet last week. Chief Marcus Hinkle traveled to the Millers Creek Fire Department near Richmond to pick up a 1991 Chevy Kodiak engine that will soon go into service.
The truck is designated for response to vehicle fires and wrecks and will carry the department’s Jaws of Life.
The Warfield Fire Board expressed appreciation to everyone who helped make the acquisition possible.
