Dallas Maynard
1953—2025

Dallas Maynard, 72, of Pilgrim, passed away Sunday, July 20, 2025 at the Community Hospice in Ashland.

Born Jan. 3, 1953, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Frank and Emma Maynard.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Diane Maynard, one daughter, Emma Lou Maynard and his siblings, Arthur Maynard, Garland Maynard, James Maynard, Roger Maynard, Louise Maynard Moore and Linda Maynard Evans.

Dallas is survived by two children, Frankie Maynard and Dallas Tex Maynard, both of Pilgrim, and one sister, Judy Maynard Jude of Inez.

Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with Buddy Stacy officiating. Burial will follow at the Maynard Cemetery in Pilgrim. Friends may visit at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made towards the funeral costs. Arrangements are under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home, Inez.
